I worked as a full-time companion parrot consultant for 21 years. I am now retired. I keep several parrots myself, including African greys, Amazons, and a Meyer’s parrot. I do not buy, sell or breed any birds. I have written detailed parrot advice leaflets for the RSPCA here in the UK; advised on the care of birds in parrot sanctuaries and assisted TV and Radio producers on pet bird care issues for broadcast programmes.
